One practice, one focus —loosening the grip of anxiety and OCD.

A specialist clinic for teens and adults in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Our practice

A therapy room at the practice, with a sofa, armchair and bookshelf

We treat anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, and we do not try to be a practice that treats everything.

Narrowing the scope is what lets us go deep. Every clinician here is trained in the specific protocols these conditions respond to, caseloads stay small enough to supervise properly, and the treatment plan gets written down rather than left implied.

You should expect a clear account of what we think is happening, what the evidence supports, and roughly how long it tends to take. If we are not the right place for what you are carrying, we will say so early and point you somewhere better suited.

Not sure whether this is the right fit? That is a good reason to call. The front desk can talk it through with you at(734) 555-0164.

Portrait of Dr. Iris Kwon

Dr. Iris Kwon, PhD

Clinical Psychologist · Co-director

Dr. Kwon works across OCD, health anxiety, trauma and insomnia, with an emphasis on getting to a workable plan quickly. She is direct about what the evidence supports and what it does not, which most clients report finding a relief rather than a shock.

  • PhD, Clinical Psychology — Placeholder University
  • Trained in CBT, ACT, CPT and prolonged exposure
  • Additional training in insomnia and chronic pain
  • Works with adults and teens aged 16 and above

They practise alongside eight more licensed clinicians — psychologists, social workers, a counselor and a school psychologist — so you can be matched to whoever's training fits what you are actually working on.
